General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Introduction
The following General Terms and Conditions (“GTC”) govern the use of the digital document conversion and sharing service (“Service”) operated by [Mediacity Kft.] (“Service Provider”). By using the Service, you accept the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Service.
2. Service Description
The Service enables you to upload, edit, format and publish PDF documents. The Service is provided under various subscription packages, which are described on the Service Provider’s website (“Website”).
3. Registration and Use of the Service
- To use the Service, you must register for a user account (“Account”).
- During registration, you must provide accurate and current data. The User is responsible for any incorrect data.
- The User is responsible for the confidentiality of the password associated with his/her account. In the event of unauthorized use of the account, he/she must immediately notify the Service Provider.
4. Terms of Use
- The Service may only be used for lawful purposes. Uploading any infringing, illegal or harmful content is prohibited.
- The User warrants that he/she has the necessary rights to use the uploaded content.
- The Service Provider reserves the right to remove infringing or harmful content.
5. Subscription Terms
- The Service is available under various subscription packages. Information on current packages and prices can be found on the Website.
- The subscription fee is paid on a monthly or annual basis. Payment of the fee is a condition for using the Service.
- The subscription can be canceled at any time, but fees already paid are not refundable.
6. Limitation of Liability
- The Service Provider will make every reasonable effort to ensure the continuous and error-free provision of the Service, but will not be liable for any technical errors.
- The Service Provider is not responsible for the content uploaded by the User or for any damage resulting from the use of the Service.
7. Data Management and Data Protection
The handling of your personal data is governed by the provisions of the Data Management Notice. Please read the Data Management Notice carefully.
8. Amendments
The Service Provider reserves the right to amend the GTC. We will publish a notice of the amendments on the Website. The amended terms and conditions will enter into force upon publication.
9. Settlement of Disputes
In the event of any legal dispute arising in connection with the use of the Service, Hungarian law shall govern. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hungarian courts.
